    Hello -
I am using Money Standard 2002.
I last downloaded Internet Updates on 11/14/03.
In my Bills & Deposits list, I have a recurring
transaction set up to pay my credit card bill. It is
configured as a recurring direct debit from my checking
account to my credit card account. When the monthly
reminder comes up, I go to Manage Bills & Deposits and
    click Enter into Register.
Bug: Even though the transaction is correctly configured
as being FROM my checking account and TO my credit card
account, for at least the last two months, when I enter
the transaction, it instead creates a deposit in my
checking account paid from my credit card account. I have
not made any changes to my bills & deposits -- the only
change is that I've downloaded the various program
    updates from Microsoft.
I have not yet tried the workaround of deleting the
recurring transaction and creating a new one; that will
likely fix it. But I wanted to make sure you were aware
of the bug introduced by the program updates.

Microsoft does not monitor this NG to any particular degree, nor do they
care about bugs in M02. They don't seem to care too much about bugs in M04
    either, FWIW.

LOL! Well, there's something to be said for consistency I suppose.

Sometimes it really makes me wonder how many of the 50,000 Microsoft
employees are Money developers. I honestly can't imagine needing more than
one person to make the fairly minor cosmetic changes that make up the new
versions every year or two. You'd think they'd really splurge and throw,
gosh, 5 people at it and just wipe up Quicken once and for all, wouldn't
you? Shows what I know about software marketing, I guess.

Plus what they rape you for if you buy their checks, of course.

Sure. But if you buy their checks you get what you deserve. Most anybody
that prints check stock knows how to format for Money.
